On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, the authorities of Warsaw organized a wide range of events to commemorate this act of courage. The commemoration covered various types of official celebration as well as less official ones, such as films, theatre plays, concerts and other performances.
