Mayday 2008 is already behind us. It was the 9th cult party which took place on the 10th  of   November and which gathers more and more fans of electrical music every year. This year, the organizers have provided an unusual musical spectacle and even more attractions for the clubbers.

The remaining time for the 36th European Basketball Championship is diligently used for preparation. The draw took place on 8th of November at the Capitol Theatre.

• Eurobasket 2009 - losowanie Mistrzostw Europy

The 25th of October witnessed the final competition of the Miss Intercontinental 2008, which took place in the Dom Muzyki i Tańca in Zabrze. The final gala event had 57 candidates from around the world. The hosts of the concerts were: Agnieszka Popielewicz, Zygmunt Hajzer and Kuba Klawiter, who reported the news from behind the stage.
